What kind of Mah Jongg is this?
Mahj is made for American Mah Jongg: the card, the Charleston, flowers, jokers, and the familiar four-player table.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. Computer players can fill one, two, or three empty seats, so you can practice on your own or play with a smaller group of friends.
How do my friends join a table?
Create a table in the app and share its six-character code. Your friends enter the code in Mahj to take an open seat. An internet connection and a Mahj account are required.
Is it made for iPad or iPhone?
Both. Mahj has a spacious iPad table and layouts made for playing on iPhone.
When can I play the app?
Mahj is in development, and TestFlight beta access is being prepared. This site previews its fourteen collections and table experience. Contact hello@getmahj.com with beta inquiries.
Can I play a full game here?
This page gives you a little feel for the tiles and table. Full games, friends, groups, and rankings are in the native Mahj app.
